Exciting news for fans of The Amazing World of Gumball!  After a six-year hiatus, the beloved animated series is making a grand return with its seventh season, aptly titled The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball.  Hulu has officially announced the revival, with new episodes expected to premiere in late 2025 or early 2026.  

What to Expect in Season 7

Season 7 picks up right where the original series left off, continuing the quirky adventures of Gumball and his adopted brother Darwin in the surreal town of Elmore.  The premiere episode, "The Burger," was previewed at the 2024 Annecy International Animation Film Festival and features the duo's humorous attempt at healthy eating.  

The new season promises to delve deeper into the show's mythology, including the mysterious Void and the return of the character Rob, who has been a significant figure in previous seasons.  

New Voices for Familiar Characters

In this revival, the Watterson children have been recast: 

Gumball Watterson will be voiced by Alkaio Thiele.

Darwin Watterson will be voiced by Hero Hunter.

Anais Watterson will be voiced by Kinza Syed Khan. 

Longtime voice actors Teresa Gallagher and Dan Russell will return as Nicole and Richard Watterson, respectively.  

Where to Watch

The new season will stream exclusively on Hulu in the United States and on Cartoon Network internationally.  

For fans in India, the previous six seasons of The Amazing World of Gumball are available for streaming on Netflix.   As of now, there is no official announcement regarding the availability of Season 7 on Indian streaming platforms.
