Rihanna undeniably stole the spotlight at the 2025 Met Gala with a show-stopping entrance that doubled as a surprise pregnancy announcement.  Arriving fashionably late—after 10 p.m., when many guests were already leaving—she made a grand statement that captivated both fans and media alike. 

Embracing the evening’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” Rihanna wore a custom Marc Jacobs ensemble that reimagined menswear with a feminine twist.  Her look featured a cropped black Spencer jacket, a corseted wool bustier, and a pinstriped skirt with a sculptural bustle.  She completed the outfit with a wide-brimmed hat designed in collaboration with Stephen Jones, a satin cravat, and spectator pumps  .
