IPL 2025: RCB Announces Ticket Refunds for Abandoned KKR Match

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have officially announced full ticket refunds for the IPL 2025 match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), which was abandoned due to persistent rain at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 17.  

Refund Process Overview

Digital Ticket Holders:

Refunds will be processed automatically within 10 working days to the original payment method.

If the refund is not received by May 31, 2025, fans are advised to email their booking details to refund@ticketgenie.in for assistance. 

Physical Ticket Holders:

Original tickets must be surrendered at the official point of purchase to claim a refund. 

Important Notes:

Refunds are not applicable for complimentary or hospitality tickets.

Only the face value of the ticket will be refunded; taxes and convenience fees may not be included.  

Match Impact

The washout resulted in both RCB and KKR receiving one point each.  RCB moved to the top of the IPL 2025 points table with 17 points from 12 matches, enhancing their playoff prospects.  Conversely, KKR, with 12 points from 13 matches, were eliminated from playoff contention.
